Le Strato

Intimate by Palace standards — 25 rooms only — and home to two-Michelin-starred Baumanière 1850 under chef Jean-André Charial.

The Boix-Vives family — historic owners of Rossignol — opened Le Strato in 2008 in their home resort. With 25 rooms it is the smallest of the eight Palaces and the most family-run: the Boix-Vives are often in residence through the season, and the property feels less like a hotel and more like a private alpine club.

The house

Architect Jean-Louis Sigalas designed Le Strato as a single curved building wrapped around a south-facing terrace with panoramic views over the Bellecôte. The Rossignol heritage runs through the property — vintage skis in the ski room, an in-house boot-fitting service, and direct ski access onto the Cospillot piste.

Cinq Mondes Spa

A 1,200 sqm spa across two floors with a 20m pool, hammam, sauna, four cabins and the Cinq Mondes signature treatment menu — the only Cinq Mondes Palace spa in the Alps.
