Festival Pyramides du Givre returns December 14
The annual ice-sculpture festival returns to the Croisette and Jardin Alpin from 14 December through 5 January, with twelve international teams and three new commissioned pieces.
The Pyramides du Givre festival, free and open to the public, returns to the Croisette and the Jardin Alpin on 14 December. Twelve sculpture teams from France, Japan, Canada and Russia will work in 5-metre ice blocks across the opening weekend.
Three pieces are commissioned to remain through the season; the rest melt with the first thaw. The festival runs until 5 January.
